After teasing the feature several months ago, ay Music is finally ready to serve as the official hub for podcasts on Android.

Android lice uncovered an email from N that announced the news network’s podcast would launch April 18 in ay Music. The email notes the following:

first learned about ’s plans to bring podcasts to ay back in October. Some ay Music subscribers saw them pop up inside the app in February, but there hasn’t been any official word since. ’ll let you know if it turns out to be the real deal this time.

The impact on you: If you like to have everything in one place, this new feature will allow you to keep your music collection favorite podcasts inside of ay Music. However, if you’re using one of the four best podcast apps already out there, there may not be enough reason to make a switch, particularly if you use Spotify or another music service.
