Not only has Samsung seriously dialed back the bloatware on the Galaxy S6 S6 ge, but you may finally be able to get rid of many of the unwanted apps that come preinstalled.
A post on the XDA Developer forums indicates you can delete any of the Samsung apps loaded on one of the new devices, such as S Voice, S Health, or Calculator. The same applies to the preinstalled additions of Microsoft’s OneNote, OneDrive, Skype. Even some of ’s stock apps can be dispensed with.
The screenshots show a delete button above many of the apps, matching the process for how Samsung devices permanently eliminate an app. Some of these might give you a pop-up asking to “disable” instead of “delete” the app; disabled apps still exist on your phone, but they don’t run are never seen or heard from.

It’s a nice change from previous iterations of Samsung’s galaxy line, which were notorious for a resource-heavy Touchz interface an overflow of preinstalled apps you couldn’t delete.

Samsung is hoping that the Galaxy S6 curved-screen S6 ge’s focus on build quality will put it back atop the Android world. The preorder numbers have been impressive, which is an early sign this could be the hit that Samsung needs.
